INDIVIDUALS ARE WELCOME
MUST HAVE 50 RIDERS TO HOST THIS EVENT

We will be hosting a Cowboy Cookout on April 25-26th. Our 2008 Calendar is in the works and will be posted on our website when complete.

Itinerary:

Friday Evening:

checking in for cabins or camping on friday. At dark we will have a bonfire down at the river. There is nothing better that time of year.

Saturday:  

wake up to a pancake breakfast served from 8-9 am.

the ride heads out at 9:30 and we will ride two hours to the lunch site where we will serve an authentic dutch oven meal complete with an enjoyable view of the river for you to relax and your horses to refresh themselves.

 after lunch we will ride back to the ranch where the evening continues with a meal fit for a cowboy! We will be serving a steak dinner with all the fixins.

during dinner there will be a cowboy poet to entertain you while you enjoy the feast.  after dinner, the night continues with an evening of dancing and socializing! (blue springs will not be supplying any alcoholic beverages, but we do not prohibit you from bringing your own.)

Sunday:

after a day full of riding and dancing, feel free to sleep in and when you wake up we will be serving a country style breakfast to fill you up before you head out. Breakfast will be served from 9-10:30 (check out time for cabins will be 1 pm but you may remain in the park later if you wish.)

There will be a poker run held on SATURDAY; details will be given when checking in that weekend.

Rates and procedures for reservations:

*this event will be for reserved guests only. Anyone not reserved ahead of time will not be able to ride.

 Cabins-------------------------------$180/person

**cabins will be booked according to the number of members in your party.  space is limited so it is important to know the number in your party when makiing reservations.

 

Electric and Water---------------$125/person

 

Primitive Camping or Day Riding---$100/person

 

*rates include your lodging for two nights, all meals, riding and entertainment.

 *if you would like to rent one of our stalls for your horse there is an additional $20 fee for the weekend. Stalls can be rented in advance. Any not reserved in advance will be first come, first serve.

 *CANOEING AND rafting also available---additional fees apply.

 *you may also schedule a guided ride with Blue springs horses for anyone you know who doesn't have a horse to bring. They may still come and stay the weekend, ride our private trails and still get in on the meals and entertainment!
