Our kayak float trips feature the most beautiful stretch of the river. You can relax or scoot around nimbly as you glide past caves and towering rock bluffs (including Vilander Bluff - the highest on the Meramec). Abundant wildlife roam the banks of the Upper Meramec, including wild turkey, deer and blue heron. Bald Eagles winter here, and are quite common. The sight of these majestic birds make it well worth your while to bundle up and take an off-season kayak trip. Great fishing and swimming holes and gravel beaches abound. KAYAK FLOAT SCHEDULE (summer)
5-Mile Floats From Campbell Bridge to Blue Springs
(short, 2 hours average).
Bus leaves 8 am, 10 am, 12 noon, 1 pm and 2 pm.
10-Mile Floats From Onondaga Cave to Blue Springs
(long, 4 hours average).
Bus leaves 9 am and 11 am.
OFF-SEASON TRIPS (Weather Permitting)
10-Mile Float At 10 am
5-Mile Floats At 8 am, 9 am, 11 am, 12 noon and 1 pm.
Float Trips Start Up-Stream. You Float Back To Blue Springs.
Please check in at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
Float trip prices include shuttle transportation, paddles & life jackets.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE LIFE JACKETS FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS/30 LBS.
All float trip reservations require a 100% deposit and 7 day
cancellation notice for refund less a $10 change or cancellation fee.
